Chana Dal - Black gram urad dal

Ingredients

  1. 150 gm soaked chana daal / begal gram
  2. 1 tsp ginger paste
  3. 2 tbsp cumin coriander powder
  4. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 bay leaf
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1 red chilli
  9. To taste salt and sugar
  10. As needed oil

Steps

  1. Heat oil and temper cumin seeds bay leaf and red chilli
     
     
  2. Add ginger paste and saute until the raw smell disappears
     
     
  3. Add all ingredients and saute
     
     
  4. Add boiled Dal mix sugar and adjust salt
     
     
  5. Remove and serve with puri
