Chana Dal Pulao - Black gram urad dal

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 2 cups boiled chana dal
  3. 1 tsp green coriander chopped
  4. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  8. 2 pinches hing
  9. 1 tsp lemon juice
  10. to taste salt
  11. 2 tsp oil
  12. 2 cups water

Steps

  1. Take rice wash and soak.
     
     
  2. Take a wok add oil,jeera,hing then add garlic saute add chana dal saute for 2 minutes then add all spices mix well.
       
  3. After 2 minutes add soaked rice and water mix and cover with lid cook at slow heat.
       
  4. After 10 minutes then add chana dal.Pulao is ready add green coriander and lemon juice mix and serve.
