Rajo Podo pitha-Urad-Dal

Ingredients


  1. 2 cup Rice
  2. 1 cup urad dal
  3. 1/2 cup oats
  4. 2 cup scrape coconut
  5. 4 nos cardamom crushed
  6. 6 nos clove
  7. 10 nos black pepper crushed
  8. 1 tsp baking powder
  9. 1 cup ghee
  10. to taste Salt
  11. 1 cup jaggery
  12. 1/2 cup cashew nut and raisins
  13. 2 tbs flaxseeds
  14. 2 tbsp watermelon seeds

Steps

3 hours
  1. Wash the dal and rice then soak it for 2 hours then grind it with oats like Idli batter
       
  2. Then pre heat the oven for 10 minutes, then add into the batter jaggery, flax seeds, black pepper crushed, crushed cardamom, cloves crushed, watermelon seeds, salt to taste, ghee, baking powder and mix well.
     
     
  3. Decorate it cashew nuts and raisins and bake it with greased oven proof dish for 40 mins.
