Black Chana & Veggie Salad - Black gram urad dal

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup black chana (chickpeas), soaked overnight
  2. 1 small cucumber, sliced
  3. 1/2 cup red, yellow and green capsicum, sliced
  4. 1/2 beetroot, sliced (opt)
  5. 1 onion, sliced
  6. 1-2 green chilies, chopped
  7. few coriander leaves, chopped
  8. 1 tsp. olive oil
  9. 1 tsp. lime juice
  10. to taste salt, chilli powder and pepper

Steps

  1. Pressure cook the chana in 2 cups water for 5-6 whistle. Drain and mix with all the chopped veggies.
     
     
  2. Add salt, chilli powder, pepper powder, olive oil and lime juice and toss well. Serve at room temperature.
