Chana masala - Black gram uradl dal

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 2 bowls Soaked chana
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 3 TSP Dry coconut grated
  4. 1 TSP Garlic ginger paste
  5. 2 TSP Red chilli powder
  6. 1 TSP Chhole masala
  7. 1 TSP Turmeric Powder
  8. 1 TSP Mustard,cumin seeds
  9. 4 TSP Oil
  10. Salt as per taste

Steps

30 minutes
  1. Wash the soaked chana and cook it in pressure cooker.Add pinch of salt and 1/2TSP turmeric powder while cooking
     
     
  2. Saute onion and dry coconut and make paste on mixer with coriander
     
     
  3. Now heat oil,add mustard and cumin seeds add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,chana masala
     
     
  4. Mix well and add the paste and ginger garlic paste saute it till it looses the oil
     
     
  5. Now add the cooked chana mix well.Let it cook for 5 minutes.
     
     
  6. Now add water to get desired consistency.Let it boil
     
     
  7. Serve hot with roti or rice
