Chana masala - Black gram uradl dal
Ingredients
3 servings
- 2 bowls Soaked chana
- 1 Onion
- 3 TSP Dry coconut grated
- 1 TSP Garlic ginger paste
- 2 TSP Red chilli powder
- 1 TSP Chhole masala
- 1 TSP Turmeric Powder
- 1 TSP Mustard,cumin seeds
- 4 TSP Oil
- Salt as per taste
Steps
30 minutes
- Wash the soaked chana and cook it in pressure cooker.Add pinch of salt and 1/2TSP turmeric powder while cooking
- Saute onion and dry coconut and make paste on mixer with coriander
- Now heat oil,add mustard and cumin seeds add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,chana masala
- Mix well and add the paste and ginger garlic paste saute it till it looses the oil
- Now add the cooked chana mix well.Let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Now add water to get desired consistency.Let it boil
