Pear Kalakand - Black gram urad dal

Ingredients

  1. 2 pear, pureed
  2. 100 gm paneer, crumbled
  3. 1 tbsp ghee
  4. 2-3 tbsp milk powder
  5. 1/4 cup milk
  6. 2-3 tbsp. sugar or to taste
  7. 1 tsp. rose water
  8. 1 tbsp. chopped pistachios
  9. 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  10. URAD DAL

Steps

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and saute the pear puree till all the moisture has been absorbed.
     
     
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients (except pistachios) and simmer on a low flame till it turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan.
     
     
  3. Transfer to a greased plate and garnish with chopped pistachios. Keep aside to cool. Then cut into desired shapes and serve as an offering to God or enjoy as and when desired.
